About BAHA

BAHA Mission Statement

The objectives of the Beaumont Amateur Hockey Association (BAHA) are to promote, govern and improve the sport of hockey with emphasis being on fun and development of skills, within the recreational boundaries established. The board of directors shall ensure that every member of the association has a fair and equal opportunity to play the sport, regardless of the reasons. The membership , at large, has a responsibility to:

• Promote among all who come in contact with the game, a general community spirit and high regard for hockey and BAHA in particular.
• To maintain and increase the interest in the game of hockey.
• To be responsible for the general care, supervision and directive versus the playing interest of its teams and players.
• To allow players who live outside of the designated registration zone to play for BAHA due to extreme circumstances and at the discretion of the executive. 

Further, the executive, through the board of directors, shall develop, through its operating practices, thoroughly trained and qualified volunteers to act as coaches, managers, officials etc. so that BAHA may provide the highest development skills possible to pass along to its members.  The board of directors will establish a budget at the beginning of each season and remain within that budget with their efforts being on keeping the high cost of the sport at as manageable a level as possible for the membership.
